Community Outreach Program
At Wild Lotus Yoga, we believe that yoga is a vehicle for both individual and community transformation. With this in mind, a group of our teachers and teachers-in-training participate in our Community Outreach Program, offering the tools of yoga to people who, for financial or logistical reasons, cannot attend classes at the studio. If you or your organization are interested in booking one of our teachers, please e-mail teamlotus@wildlotusyoga.com. Spaces are limited. We will do our best to accommodate you.

These open-level classes are guided by recent graduates of Soul School, Wild Lotus Yoga's Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training program. While construction is in progress on our future downtown studio inside The New Orleans Healing Center, Wild Lotus Yoga now offers five donation based yoga classes downtown held at The Holy Angels Chapel, Saint Claude Ave at Gallier St. Please note new times and address. When The New Orleans Healing Center officially opens, Wild Lotus will have a newly renovated space on the 2nd floor of the building. All are welcome!
Budding Teacher Community Classes
Whenever we have a teacher in training we offer budding teacher community discount classes at half price. New teachers get to practice honing their skills and students are invited to fill out a class feedback form after class to offer constructive criticism.
Every Sunday evening from 7:45-8:45pm, we offer a meditation session by donation. Each month we give 50% of donations from the session to a local charity.
Wild Lotus Yoga periodically holds fund raisers for various local causes that we care deeply about. Past recipients have included: Habitat For Humanity, Common Ground Collective, New Orleans Musicians' Clinic, Preservation Resource Center, Replant New Orleans, Covenant House, and more.
