Would you like to be more fully and compassionately present in your life in ways that can reduce stress and increase enjoyment and connection? In this course participants will learn meditation practices that can lead to greater inner freedom and emotional well being, increased compassion for self and others, connection to meaning, improved physical health, improved focus and working memory, and greater flow and ease amidst daily life.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to explore a well-rounded approach to meditation, drawing on ancient practices backed by scientific research. It is open to beginners and experienced meditators alike. Previous students are welcome to return to rejuvenate their practice.
Hans Gruenig, Ph.D., has studied meditation in depth with masters from around the world. He has 20 years of experience teaching meditation (workshops, courses, and retreats) and teaches courses on Buddhism, Asian philosophy, and positive psychology at Tulane University and Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan. He also offers integral wellness coaching based in mindfulness, Eastern philosophy, evidence based positive psychology, positive relationship practices, and other modalities.
