This Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Intensive is designed to ground Yoga Teachers with the information and experience to begin to teach prenatal classes with confidence and safety, as well as guide pregnant people in regular classes. We will learn the postures, transitions, and sequencing recommended for prenatal yoga. Pregnant people also welcome to immerse themselves in a whole weekend of prenatal yoga!
Prenatal Yoga classes offer pregnant people and new parents an opportunity to practice yoga tailored to this special time in a community of peers. Classes enhance their enjoyment of pregnancy and new parenthood and normalize the physical and emotional changes they are experiencing. Prenatal Yoga teachers have the wonderful job of holding this space with compassion and respect for the spectrum of choices and situations commonly faced during this time of life.
Topics we will cover:
• Prenatal Class Sequencing & Structure
• Warm-up, Kneeling, Standing, & Wall Poses
• Seated, Chair, Inverted, & Restorative Poses
• Practice Teaching & Feedback
Though all folks are welcome, this training will be taught as if participants already have a background in teaching yoga and who are aware of the physiological changes of pregnancy.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 9:30am-4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break
