In this Family Yoga session with Charlotte, we’ll explore the healing power of sound, vibration, and breath. Through fun breathing games, we’ll connect first with our individual breath and the subtle vibration it creates, we’ll expand our vibration by bringing our voices together and singing, and we’ll bring the whole family together with fun partner poses and games. The class will end with a final exploration of vibration with a sound bath using the gong and crystal singing bowls and a guided meditation. Optional aromatherapy with essential oils is offered to help bring us to a state of deep rest and calm.
Charlotte Connick-Mabry specializes in teaching children the practice of yoga and has taught many family yoga sessions focusing on messages of peace that can be practiced within families. Each person is encouraged to find the importance of their own individual sound and voice within their family system, through this fun yoga practice. Much of the content of this family yoga practice is based on the book Listening to Your Body by Gabi Garcia.
