You can, and it’s easier and closer than you think: Join Andra Aitken and AC Lambeth for Wild Lotus Yoga’s special weekend yoga retreat to unplug from the hectic and tap into inner peace and resilience.
This one-of-a-kind retreat is tailored for busy people who want a relaxing and healthy get-away to restore their energy and contentment. It is a great way to focus on caring for yourself and to reconnect with your wholeness, your loving-kindness, and your joy.
Unlike other retreats that require extensive travel and long time commitments, our retreat is located just an hour and a half away at Flowering Lotus Retreat Center, an historic Victorian mansion in the rolling green hills and charming village of Magnolia, Mississippi. Beginning Friday evening and wrapping up at noon on Sunday, the retreat offers you a chance to get away and dedicate quality time to your self-care without disrupting your busy schedule.
On this retreat, you will:
- Explore various breathing, chanting, and meditation techniques you can take home for maintaining peace and mindfulness in your life every day
- Engage in all-levels yoga practices to tune into your inner strength, cultivate flexibility, and support your body’s health and wellness
- Awaken to the unique guidance of your own heart through journaling and other practices and connect to the peace, joy, and contentment within
- Enjoy healthy, delicious vegetarian cuisine, a beautiful, peaceful setting, and the company of like-minded people just over an hour away from New Orleans.

6:00 – 7:00 pm: Orientation & Light dinner
7:30-9 pm Welcome Session, including brief and gentle asana practice & satsang
7:30-8:30 am Breakfast
9am – noon Morning Session, including all levels asana practice, chanting, and meditation
12 -1:30 pm Lunch
1:30-3:00 pm Free Time
3:30-5:30 pm Afternoon Session, including gentle asana practice and yoga nidra
6-7:00 pm Dinner
7::30-9:00 pm Evening Satsang
