The power of the divine feminine, known as Shakti, is the spark that animates all life. In yoga, she is known as Durga, Parvati, Kali, Divine Mother. She whose breath is the source of all life. She who births, sustains, and transforms all things. And she who subsumes everything without exception back into her.
We are nothing but this lifeforce embodied, and yet so often we move through our days unconscious of the divine current running through us; we push against nature, we strive and starve and sleep-walk; we resist and grasp and think we are separate and alone. We move as if orphaned, when all we are in essence and in nature is Love held in Love fed by Love, healed and transformed by Love.
In this immersive workshop, we will move in yoga asana, breathe and activate currents of energy within using pranayama and kriya, drop in deeply to our heart through mantra, and connect to that Divine essence that we are through visualization and meditation. A short reflection and sharing circle conclude our journey for integration and transition. Plus, you’ll take home with you several practices to help you maintain this awakened connection to Her presence, her movement, and her power every day.
