Part 2 of this popular workshop offers you a chance to explore further the system of the spine, including your pelvis, hips, breath, core, posture, and how daily movement habits all play a role in how supported, steady, and free you feel. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll take a practical, accessible look at low back health through the lens of yoga, functional movement, and long-term body care.
This workshop is for anyone who wants a clearer understanding of how yoga can support the low back, whether you are brand new to yoga, returning to your practice, or have been practicing for years.
Together, we’ll explore
- simple anatomy,
- breath-based core support,
- hip and spine mobility,
- and yoga poses that can be adapted to support your unique body.
You’ll learn how everyday movement patterns can shape the way your low back feels, how to move in and out of poses with more awareness, and how to refine common yoga shapes so they feel strong, spacious, and sustainable. The practice will be slow, educational, and all-levels, with space for questions and individual exploration.
Participants will leave with a short, repeatable home sequence, practical modifications, and a better understanding of how to support low back health both on and off the mat.
This workshop is just as valuable for newer students seeking a supportive place to begin as it is for experienced practitioners and teachers looking to deepen their understanding of anatomy, alignment, and sustainable practice.
