Immerse yourself in the joy, theory, and practice of teaching Restorative Yoga. Learn to guide yourself and others into the deepest layers of ease and relaxation. Restorative Yoga is a practice of receiving support and allowing stillness to take the mind and body into a place of peace and tranquility. The practitioner holds poses with the aid of bolsters, blankets, pillows, blocks, and straps so that muscles can unwind into greater openness: soothing the nervous system, calming the “fight or flight response,” and quieting the mind.

You’ll lose your hesitation, and feel confident giving powerful, transformative assists — plus, you’ll get plenty of practice giving and getting adjustments.

Rest is essential to a healthy mind, body, and life. In our day-to-day experiences we all-too-often overextend ourselves by taking on more than we should, and then worrying about the rest. Resting the mind and restoring the body becomes imperative for rejuvenating the spirit. It is one of the greatest blessings to guide our students into the various practices of restoration.
